A Guided Tour of the Presqu’île and its Silk Makers
Every Friday at 3 PM, Madeleine Jacquard, a close friend of Henriette and Joseph Brochier, invites you to meet at 18 Quai Jules Courmont for a 2-hour guided tour. With her unparalleled knowledge of the city, Madeleine will lead you through the streets of Lyon. From the Musée des Soieries Brochier to the Grand Hôtel-Dieu and the Print Workshop at 33 Rue Romarin, embark on a journey to discover the traboules and iconic sites of the Presqu’île. The history of Lyon’s silk makers will, of course, be intertwined with the tour—a subject Madeleine knows like the back of her hand.
